Dr. Shawn Seibel is dedicated to providing high-quality care and early diagnosis of problems in your pet.
Dr. Shawn Seibel is from Texas originally and attended Texas A&M University (Gig 'Em Aggies!) for both undergraduate studies (B.S. in Biomedical Sciences) and to earn his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine (DVM). After graduation in 2004, he moved to Philadelphia, PA where he performed a 1 year Medicine and Surgery Internship at the University of Pennsylvania Ryan Veterinary Hospital. He then moved to Parker, CO in 2005 working at the Animal Emergency & Specialty Center here in Parker. He worked there for about 5 years before deciding to open Advanced Pet Care of Parker in 2009. Dr. Shawn's professional interests include surgery, internal medicine, dental care, and ultrasound.
When Dr. Shawn opened Advanced Pet Care of Parker, he wanted something different than he had seen with other local general practices. He wanted a practice that took the time to educate clients on the issues their pets experienced and help owners recognize some of the signs of problems before they become severe. He also feels it is very important to educate owners about the signs of pain in their pet, as the pet cannot 'tell' their owners that they are hurting.
Dr. Shawn also wanted to have a practice that felt like family or home when you came in. He wanted to portray the belief that we treat your pet like it's one of our own, while at the same time creating a stress-free environment so your pet can receive the best health care.
He is married and has one son. They share their home with their 2 rescued dogs. Dr. Shawn enjoys woodworking and remodeling his home along with outdoor adventures with his family!
